Lei's Myriad Inspirations

Most times we search for a reason to smile, a motive to laugh or a cause to be happy. But then, realizing that we don't have to search, don't need to have a motive or cause, is in itself living a life of worth. I see the rose and its thorns, and believe that in every difficulty, there is an opportunity. It is in keeping our faith  that we are uplifted. Believe that we are in this  life not to just exist, but  to live.  

Alone or not, we have to keep moving forward. Cross the Road of Life, armed with lessons from the past, with determined gait and meaningful anticipation of what's ahead. Though the destination may be our motivation to go on, within our heart, it's the journey that fills our spirit with rainbows. We all spring from one great tree of life;  when the root of the tree is watered with love, we all thrive. We gather strength from the deepest roots-- where all the joys and pains nourish and enable us to attain limbs, branches and leaves. On our own symmetry, we direct our growth, and nurture our strength to withstand nature's ways. There are no 'if's' in God's world.  No places that are safer than other places.  The center of His will is our only safety. Let us pray that we may always find out His will and then choose to follow it. To walk out of His will is to walk into nowhere. I can't think of anything lonelier than spending the rest of my life  with someone I can't talk to, or worse, someone I can't be silent with. To talk about anything or nothing with someone close to your heart speaks about discovery, affection, challenge and growth. It is strange how we hold on to the pieces of the past while we wait for our futures. The times we lived through,  the people we shared those times with —  nothing brings it all to life but the heart's compartment of memories. We ought to let those nostalgia precipitate meaning and worth in whatever actions and decisions we are to make in the present times.
