  and the 100th: ☆★☆ Years ago, after weathering a few meaningful storms, I've started to look at life differently. Life is a web of intersections and choices. My first choice is to recognize an intersection. My second choice is to be grateful for it. When you're thanking God for every little you-- every meal, every time you wake up, every step that you are taking, you can't help but be more thankful for life itself, Each day, I am grateful for two things-- the blessing of a new day and whatever beauty there is at the end of each day. ♡ 12252014

  He is the ultimate gift to the world. – Romans 5:15 His love inspires people to be extra kind and giving this time of year. – 1 John 3:16 It’s a time of year where we can all be like little children. – Matthew 18:2-5 Christmas lights remind us that Jesus is the Light of the world, and that each of us should light the world as He does. – John 8:12 We sing JOY to the world, and it’s okay.   Angels we have heard on high,  singing sweetly through the night why this jubilee?  why these songs of happy cheer? what great brightness did you see?  what glad tiding did you hear?♪♫ To reflect upon this inspiring hymn-- Through all the heartless words of hatred, greed, envy, fear, complaints, worries, and all sort of negative talks which enshroud our world, do we still hear the message above about love, kindness and peace? Goodness, light and hope speak into the darkness that surround us. It is God's will, in the comfort of our hearts, to hear them.♡ 12232014

  Looking at the serene brutality of the ocean  is very much like seeing Life as it is lived. We set sail, in order to reach  each port of our dreams and goals. We must not just drift or tie the anchor,  or else our strength won't surface  to battle the rage of the sea. Maybe God looks at mankind  as islands in this vast blue waters,  separated on the surface,  but connected in the deep.♡ 12222014

We just always aim at complete harmony of thought, word and action. When we feel, a kind of lyric is sung in our hearts. When we think, a kind of music is played in our minds.   There comes a time in our life when we have to choose to turn the page, or close the book; to continue to write on, or wallow in our mind's block; to be in a listening mode, or just hang up; to speak out our thoughts, or to be in utter silence.   I don't trust people with no appetite, unless they're sick. It's like they're holding something back from you. Good things come to those who dine. I am thankful when I am hungry because then I know that when I eat, the food will taste better. Life has taught me that my true contentment rests in hope, and the pleasure itself is secondary. It is self-awareness, not happiness, that maintains peace. 12192014

  There is comfort in being nice when you expect nothing in return. Don't be nice merely because you want to be liked for it. It would be like appeasing egotistically and your heart may fill up with emptiness instead of smiles. When other people treat you poorly, keep doing you. Never let anyone's bitterness change the person you are. I remember my grandfather once told me, that if there comes a moment when I feel really mad at someone who wronged me and wanted to get even, I must will myself to say something nice about that person. And if I did, the feeling of revenge would fade and I could go on living my life with a light heart.  12182014

ℒℴѵℯ is at the heart of the world,  just as it is at the heart of your life. When our hearts are in a state of coherence, we more easily experience feelings such as ℒℴѵℯ, care, appreciation and compassion. On the other hand, feelings such as irritation, anger, greed, hurt and envy are more likely to occur  when the mind and heart are out of alignment.   12172014

In His light, we must develop an appetite for sweetness  that is possible in this world and bring us capable of loving without conditions. True love never fails and naturally sweetens our heart with gratitude. Our happiness depends on the habit of mind we cultivate. The practice of happy thinking every day is always a good objective. Cultivate the merry heart, develop the happiness habit  and life will become a continual feast.✿ 12162014
