  and the 100th: ☆★☆ Years ago, after weathering a few meaningful storms, I've started to look at life differently. Life is a web of intersections and choices. My first choice is to recognize an intersection. My second choice is to be grateful for it. When you're thanking God for every little you-- every meal, every time you wake up, every step that you are taking, you can't help but be more thankful for life itself, Each day, I am grateful for two things-- the blessing of a new day and whatever beauty there is at the end of each day. ♡ 12252014

  Looking at the serene brutality of the ocean  is very much like seeing Life as it is lived. We set sail, in order to reach  each port of our dreams and goals.   I don't trust people with no appetite, unless they're sick. It's like they're holding something back from you. Good things come to those who dine. I am thankful when I am hungry because then I know that when I eat, the food will taste better. Life has taught me that my true contentment rests in hope, and the pleasure itself is secondary.   There is comfort in being nice when you expect nothing in return. Don't be nice merely because you want to be liked for it. It would be like appeasing egotistically and your heart may fill up with emptiness instead of smiles. When other people treat you poorly, keep doing you. Never let anyone's bitterness change the person you are. I remember my grandfather once told me, that if there comes a moment when I feel really mad at someone who wronged me and wanted to get even, I must will myself to say something nice about that person. And if I did, the feeling of revenge would fade and I could go on living my life with a light heart.  12182014

True love never fails and naturally sweetens our heart with gratitude. Our happiness depends on the habit of mind we cultivate. The practice of happy thinking every day is always a good objective. Indeed it was a joyride, an overdrive to nostalgia-- viewed from the spectrum of being in one of those shoes many years back and joining in the melodic fade out lalalala... That military training act brazed such creative rendition that my salutation seemed like the roof was on fire. We realized that hard lessons were learned inside the classroom and out of it. We were caught in certain crossroads and faced questions each time we woke up and deal with life, Of love phases which bloomed and doomed-- bittersweet, yeah right. But with a smile, we have to go on to unveil fresh chapters and truth sinks in that we're not too young at all. Those friendships and kinships that were enveloped with crazy vibes and seriousness, and in time, will grow out of their old habits until they part ways. Truth to tell, true ones remain unshaken. Ngunit ngayon kay bilis maglaho ng kahapon. Sana'y huwag kalimutan ang ating mga pinagsamahan. Freedom and letting go...

Follow your inner moonlight,  don't hide the madness. Only when you are aware  of your uniqueness  will you begin to have  a sense of your own worth. It is truly an amazing feat  to be your true self amidst a world that is  splattered with varied changes. If we celebrate our uniqueness,  the world will, too. It believes exactly what we tell it— through the words we use  to describe ourselves, the actions we take  to care for ourselves, and the choices we make  to express ourselves. Tell the world we are  one-of-a-kind creation who came here to experience wonder and spread joy. Expect to be accommodated.☆•*¨*•.¸ 12152014

I know not how to paint,  but I know, for sure,  that we color the world  with whatever we put our hearts into.  So when you see the details, the colors and irony of Life, let your soul appreciate the interest, affection, compassion that goes into it. In the many superimposed rainbows of my Life, I will never run out of gratefulness and would always remember to  bring back the glory of appreciation to Him.♡ 12142014

Most times in my life, I make it a point to look back to remember the awesome memories, to remember the positive lessons I have learned,  to help someone else learn from what I have lived and to see how far I have come. And these memories lose their meaning when I think of love as something new. Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before. I know I'll often stop and think about them. The thing about remembering is that you don't forget. You can learn from what you remember, but you can't change it. When you remember me,  it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us. It means that if we meet again, you will know me. I tend to think we are what we remember, what we know. The less we remember, the less we know about ourselves, the less we are. Remembering brings us backward while allowing us to move forward. Nostalgia can lead to regret for some  which is why they can perceive it to be bad,  but if you can use nostalgia to remind you  of what has led you to who you are today, or to remind you of good times and how you will find them again, you will appreciate life more. When it comes to remorse and correcting the past, there’s nothing I’d like to undo. Where you arrive at is because of all those things. I know if I change something then my destination might have been different and I may not have these significant lessons up my sleeves.  Learning life's lessons is what makes Life beautiful...★♡¨*•.¸¸✿♡★ 12022014

Certain things can happen and get us really down.  That's a process we must all go through.  No one is immune to pain and suffering, to sadness and emptiness. What's important is to hang in there. Remind yourself that things will always get better. After a storm, the sun will shine again. It may be a few minutes later, a few hours, or even a few days. But it will always happen. This does not mean that the negative emotions you experience at the time are trivial. They are real. They are important. They bring lessons. The sadness will pass. It is not what happens to you  but how you respond to what happens to you.  Be it sunshine or rain,  do you dry out and crumble into ruins or soak and nearly drown in the puddles of sorrow? Many positive souls have proven otherwise, and instead, either got up to let the sunshine nourish their souls or drenched in the rain to wash away the unwanted vibes. Nature will take its course in the same way that Life will unfold itself.
